the 70 greatest hits! Like them, all of the ones with water are my favorite. Not sure why, guess I am drawn to water, must be something about that? But you have a great eye for photography. Always enjoy your photos. thank for sharing.

"...guess I am drawn to water". I think your wonderful seascapes suggest as much ;-)
Thanks Grace. Lovely to read your comment.

You are a brilliant photographer Koos...so many excellent shots...I fell in love with the pink ceiling/clock tho!

Oh yes and the long barge in the fog...wow!

I don't know how you could even narrow your body of work to a top 70. You have such a flair with the camera, that would be a difficult task.

You hit the nail on the head, Anne-Marie.
I would still be making lists if I had to make my own selection, but this Top-70 was generated automatically, based on the appreciation and number of views from other Flickr users.
This is a truly democatic outcome, which doesn't mean I agree 100% ;-)

...and I do get the compliment, Anne-Marie (blush).

And thank you String as well!

My favourites are the two with the solitary tree, the skyscrapers reflected in the water where the scooter lies below the surface, and the one with the coal heaps in the foreground and the belching steam in the back. There are so many that aren't here too that I love - your colour studies, many of the Doel pictures and of course loads of the big ships on the canal here.

very exciting about the exhibition Koos! Sadly, once again, and for the last several posts of yours, I will have to get my butt to the library to actually look at the photos! I think that will be my goal for tomorrow!
Sunday is supposed to be a day off after all! ROFL!

My favorite is the "Rue de Chièvres", it reminds me of my childhood in some funny way. The same kind of telephone poles along the road and fog in the summer mornings when I had to get out of bed and put out four stubborn cows to pasture some few kilometers away.
Really great pictures in there!

OMG, sharp and brilliant in every sense. I'm lucky to have feasted my eyes on these. Eye candy!

Hi Koos,
You did it.
You have proven photography is possible without the specific education. (Auto Didact in Dutch?) It is astonishing. Well done and keep up.
Love to Val and kind regards,
Erik-Jan.
