Any idea what this is?

This remarkable trailer caught my attention in Schoten, Belgium.
Maybe someone can tell me what this is? I have no clue, honestly.

I think I have an idea of what that is. My guess is a mobile Port-O-Potty. This one looks homemade by a camper. At least it would be very handy in remote places that have no bathrooms, but it would be too embarassing to haul behind your truck or any vehicle on the way to that campground.

I'm gonna have to go with metalchick on this unless ofcourse it is a really big birdhouse made for Big Bird (Sesamystreet). :-)

A beachside dressing room?

Hmmm
You three get me going, thanks for that. Someone who likes to go... fishing? and then wants the comfort and privacy of as real a toilet as possible?

its a horse box for a very short horse...lol..koos i have been inspired by your tour guideing decided to do some myself..erhum!

Koos F said...

Absurdity wherever you look, dear Gypsy, especially when seen through your eyes.
Can't wait to see the result of your thought process!

...and a reply that makes very much sense. Wonder if Dale agrees. She knows about horses.

Maybe it's for a very short giraffe?

or maybe a squashed up elephant..

Some rational thinking now: this is in Belgium. So it is used to store and transport beer. Ending all doubts...

Vallypee said...

no, no folks...come on be sensible..it's JUST A GARDEN SHED! Specially for people with travelling gardens...

or else it's aneconomy class mobile home for insomniacs.

its a do it yourself 2 wheeled caravan...habitat..

Hey there!

It could be a porta-shower...I thought of a similar idea many, many years ago.

Oh My God, Koos!

Where did you find it?

I spent 2 hours stumbling about in the dark the other night.
One minute it was in our back yard then it was just... gone.

Never trust those Belgians.

LOL Gypsy - a very short Belgian!

Vallypee said...

Dale, it's yours??? What in heavens name did you use it for? In the dark? The mind boggles....;-)

Koos F said...

So there's the answer (Dale's). 't Was her toilet in her garden.
Anyone prepared to tow it back to British Columbia?

Silence...

So why don't we suggest Dale put one of these modern plastic jobs in her garden. Wouldn't that be an improvement?

Dale said...

The last plastic one burnt down...

Dale said...

... but that's a whole different post.

Hola Koos,

I've had fun reading all the comments of the people trying to find out what it is, haha...
Sorry I haven't posted here for a while.....I haven't seen any of your post in Rachel's blog or at Molly's chatroom...I hope you are well.
I went to The Who gigs in Liverpool and I've posted some photos, have a look if you feel like.

Love,
Elena

Hi Koos,
Seen John Fogerty yesterday in Amsterdam. Predictable but very worthwhile.

Belgian horses are rather tall, but I guess one could be tied in a knot to fit that horse box...

Koos F said...

About the height of Belgians, we can say they are short, but it is fairer to say that they are average; it's the Dutch who are tall, in fact the tallest in the world. A bit of a germanic / nordic trait - and you will find hardly any germanic Belgian.

Wonderful to have a visit from Elena again. While we were writing life changing and thought provoking things (or nonsense if you like) she went to see the Who TWICE. Now if that doesn't make an awful lot of sense... Great to hear from you again Elena.

Elke, also seen the Who, in Belgium, where else!
When I was approaching the Belgian border from Weert (in Holland) already the word Hechtel appeared on the roadsigns that are visible from the canal. It seems to be quite a place. Do you go to the airshow the 23rd, Elke?
Yours seems to be a very current name there. All the girls that I heard speaking in the North-East sounded like Kim Clijsters, really.

Great that you saw John Fogerty, Erik-Jan. I have his album Centerfield, beautiful. Need to make that digital one of these days, I bought it in the vinyl era.
