Kasperformance

JAZZ
Now here's a surprise.
My son Kasper plays Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, you name them and he's taken years of piano lessons in it.
Jazz, however, doesn't run in the family.
He decided to do a course in jazz to broaden his horizons. Finished the course recently and last Monday night performed for the world to listen to the result of his efforts (and his bandmates').
I was there to witness it in Amsterdam where he goes to uni, and here is a video summary of the performance.
As usual, the QuickTime 7 version, 2.1 Mb, is a fraction of the Windows Media Player movie, 15 Mb, so may I suggest upgrading to QuickTime 7 ?
Update 29 March 2006: I removed the Windows version to create server space.

Hi Koos,
Don't know much about jazz but it certainly sounds nice.
"Kasperformance" would make a succesfull name for his band...

Hi Papa Koos,

The video is great... I see you opted to put in a windows media file anyway :)

It's great to see Kasper doing something other than classical piano for a change.

Wow, sounds great! I was in a jazz band when I was a teenager and found it much more challenging thank regular band - mostly to try to improvise on the spot in front of people and make t sound good at the same time. It looks like Kasper is really enjoying himself there!

Dear Koos

You must be very proud of Kasper!
I like the name of your post, too.
Hope he keeps broadening his horizons.

As an animal lover, I enjoy your photos of Sindy. I am unable to post pics of my pets on this old computer.
I will when the time comes, though!

Take care & hello to Val.
